As I have experienced myself with acne problems during my high school year, I know that this topic is not easy to cover (especially if you are a guy). Find your skin type. In order to get a proper skin care, knowing your skin type is a must . As we have already heard, your skin is genetically determined. In other words, your skin will depend on what you do, what you eat, and how you take care of them. If you have no idea what your skin type is, please read below and determine your skin type.

1) Normal Skin: If your skin is normal, tone of your skin will not show any traces of oil. Normally, your skins should feel tight, smooth, clean, and vibrant. If this is your type, you really don’t have anything to worry about.

2) Dry Skin: This is not that hard to figure out. The opposite from oily skin. Dry skin can cause your skin to feel flaky and dry. This type can easily cause wrinkles, and your skin is more prone to aging and irritating.

3) Oily Skin: This type links directly to your pimple. If you have oily skin, it normally looks shiny, greasy, and think, and large pores. This type tends to increase your pimples; on the flip side, this type is not prone to wrinkling or aging. In other word, you don’t really need to use lotion.

4) Combination Skin: Combination skin involves both dry and oily skin. While this type is normally rare, it requires a different treatment for particular areas.

5) Sensitive Skin: If you have sensitive skin, it can normally cause your skin to leave spots due to the development of reddish and scaly areas.
